Convert your compatible bicycle with this compact 250W geared rear hub motor kit, featuring plug-and-play connections, pedal assistance and optional lightweight LG battery packages.

Designed for compatible 135 mm quick-release rear dropouts and HG cassette drivetrains. Please check your frame, axle type, cassette and wheel size before ordering. Wider dropout spacing does not automatically mean the kit will fit.

Typical performance on private land: approximately 20–25 mph, depending on battery voltage, rider weight, terrain and riding conditions.

Typical riding range with the optional compact LG batteries: approximately 15–30 miles per charge, depending on the battery selected, assistance level and riding conditions. Performance and range figures are estimates, not guarantees.

⚖️ Use & Speed Settings

This kit offers pedal assistance and throttle operation, with unrestricted performance intended for private land with the landowner’s permission.

A selectable speed limit does not establish that the converted bicycle is road legal. With the advertised unrestricted assistance above 15.5 mph, this configuration should not be sold or used as a road-legal EAPC.

🔋 Optional Compact LG Battery Packages

Choose from three compact battery options manufactured using LG 18650 3.7V 3500mAh lithium-ion cells, each fitted with a 20A Battery Management System.

Every battery package includes a matching 2A UK charger.

36V 7Ah LG Battery – Small Case

• Approximately 230 mm long

• Compact option for bicycles with limited frame space

• Easy to remove and carry

36V 10.5Ah LG Battery – Medium Case

• Approximately 300 mm long

• Highest energy capacity of these three options

• Suitable for riders prioritising range while retaining a compact battery

48V 7Ah LG Battery – Medium Case

• Approximately 300 mm long

• Higher-voltage option for the compatible motor and controller

• Offers higher unrestricted speed on private land, depending on riding conditions

Check the full battery dimensions and allow sufficient clearance to fit and remove the battery before ordering.

Estimated range: 15–30 miles per charge. Higher assistance levels, throttle use, steep hills, heavier loads and continuous high-speed riding will reduce range.

⚙️ Cassette Options

We can install a 7, 8, 9 or 10-speed cassette when you add a compatible cassette to your order.

Spacer requirements depend on the cassette and freehub combination. If you are keeping your existing cassette, please confirm compatibility before purchasing.

Warranty covers manufacturing faults, subject to our warranty terms. Accidental damage, misuse, water ingress, normal wear and tear, and damage caused by modifications are excluded.

🛠️ Installation Tips

• Check your frame, dropout spacing, wheel size and brake compatibility before fitting.

• A chain whip and suitable cassette lockring tool are required when removing an existing cassette.

• Ensure the motor axle sits fully in both dropouts, with washers correctly positioned.

• Tighten axle nuts and rotor bolts to the relevant manufacturer’s specified torque.

• Remove any transport spacer before fitting the disc rotor.

• Ensure rotor bolts cannot contact the motor cable.

• Fit a suitable torque arm for additional axle support.

• Route cables away from moving parts and avoid stretching or trapping them.

• Check that the wheel rotates freely before connecting the battery.

• Have spoke tension checked after the first few rides.

• Use only the charger supplied for your selected battery.

• If you are unsure about installation, use a competent bicycle technician.
