MCR ELECTRICS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Definitions

“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our” refers to MCR Electrics
“Customer”, “you” refers to the purchaser
“Bike” refers to any bicycle, electric conversion kit, battery or related equipment supplied
“Used” means second-hand or previously owned
“New” means unused and supplied as new by us

2. Product Description

We supply:

  • Electric conversion kit bicycles

  • Conversion kits

  • Batteries

  • Components and accessories

Bikes may consist of:

  • Used bike frame

  • New or used conversion kit

  • New or used battery

The exact specification is confirmed on invoice or contract.

Used items may contain cosmetic marks including scratches, paint wear or general signs of use. These are not faults.

3. Orders & Acceptance

An order is only accepted when:

  • Payment is received, and

  • The customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order where fraud is suspected.

We may request identification before dispatch.

4. Delivery & Risk

Once the bike is handed to the courier:

  • The parcel is insured through the courier

  • Risk transfers during transit under courier insurance

  • Any transit damage must be reported within 24 hours with photos

Failure to report within 24 hours will be treated as acceptance of condition.

5. Acceptance of Goods

The moment you accept the delivery, the bike is considered inspected and accepted.

After acceptance:

  • No returns

  • No cancellations

  • No refunds

6. Refund Policy

Refunds are only available if:

The customer refuses delivery AND the bike is returned immediately unused.

No refund will be issued if:

  • The bike has been accepted

  • The bike has been ridden

  • The bike has been modified

  • A change of mind occurs

7. Warranty

Warranty only applies to new components supplied by MCR Electrics

New Conversion Kit

3 month limited warranty (manufacturing faults only)

New Battery

12 month limited warranty (manufacturing faults only)

No Warranty Applies To

  • Used bikes

  • Used batteries

  • Used kits

  • Frames

  • Wear and tear items

  • Incorrect setup

  • Water damage

  • Overheating

  • Incorrect charger use

8. Warranty Void

Warranty is immediately void if:

  • Wiring is altered

  • Battery is opened

  • Non-approved charger used

  • Controller settings modified incorrectly

  • Third-party parts installed

  • The system is tampered with

  • Physical damage occurs

9. Repairs

Customers must return the bike to our premises at their own cost.

We do NOT collect bikes.

10. Chargers

Replacement chargers must be purchased through MCR Electrics.

Damage caused by incorrect chargers voids warranty.

11. Legal Use & Responsibility

The customer accepts full responsibility for:

  • Where the bike is used

  • How the bike is used

  • Compliance with UK law

MCR Electrics does not provide legal classification advice.

The customer confirms they understand UK regulations relating to electric bikes and conversion kits.

12. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for:

  • Injury

  • Legal penalties

  • Misuse

  • Illegal use

  • Third party damage

  • Modifications after sale

The product is used entirely at the customer’s own risk.

13. Chargebacks & Disputes

By purchasing, the customer confirms:

  • The item matches its description

  • Terms were agreed before dispatch

Fraudulent chargebacks will be disputed using signed contracts, invoices and delivery evidence.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The latest version on our website always applies.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
